Times Table Rock Stars

 

 

 

At Grange Park we actively promote the use of technology to support learning and children engagement in maths. Children have been really motivated to use these programmes to develop their fluency, reasoning and problem solving skills in maths at home.

Times Table Rock Stars is a programme which allows children to develop their confidence and fluency with the multiplication tables and related division facts. Children are targeted with multiplication tables suited to their ability and results on the game, they are encouraged to play different games to earn coins, which can be spent on developing their Rock Star Avatars. As a school we encourage inter class and family battles to promote fluency and give the game a competitive edge. Children from years 1-6 have login details for this and should be playing at home on a regular basis.

I like earning coins, through answering questions correctly and competing with other children in the school.
