Games

As like the traditional 'Kim's Game', this is a great way to develop memory skills and recall techniques. Place some of the cut-outs on to a tray, starting with a lower number to start with that your child should try to memorise. When they are ready and they think they can recall the 4 things, for example, remove an item without them looking and see if they can name which item is missing. Gradually build up the pictures placed on the tray. This can be adapted as you wish, for example, if your child is still learning to recognise letter sounds, you may choose to add letters to the tray so they can continue to recognise sounds in a fun way.
